Who is Antioch?

Pastors Brad and Cory Curry started Antioch in 2010 with the belief that God had called us to be a new expression of His Church.  Not better than other churches, just different. We firmly believe that there is only one Body of Christ, the Church, but that body has many parts each with different purposes.  We believe our purpose to be as follows:

“To bring Glory to God through the advancing of His Kingdom.”

How is Antioch unique as a church?

Our longing is to see things restored to the way they were intended to be, first in our lives and then in the world around us.  To see His Kingdom come and His will be done, both in us and through us.

“Deep worship, dependence upon the Holy Spirit, growing in Christlikeness through discipleship, and a commitment to live life together.”

  • You can have church without a message, but you can’t have church without worship.  A good portion of our time is devoted to pouring out love to God through worship and prayer.

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is still active and leading the body of Christ.  We try to be intentional about waiting on the Spirit and allowing Him to lead.

  • We echo Paul’s cry that Christ would be formed in us as we focus on intentional discipleship into Christlikeness.

  • Jesus said that all men will know that we are His disciples by the love we have for one another.  This kind of a relationship can’t be developed by meeting together once a week for 2 hours. Therefore, we are committed to investing in each other’s lives and spending time together.

Knowing God requires more than just knowing facts about Him.  We believe in order to know and worship God fully it will require our head, hearts, and hands.   We are committed to developing our minds through study, our hearts through disciplines and healing, and our hands through service to those in need.

We also believe in the importance of beauty and celebrate the arts at Antioch. When God is introduced in the Scriptures it is as Creator, or Artist. We have been created in His image as creators to express His beauty and to worship Him through the arts.

Home is the place where you can let down your guard. You don’t have to try to be anything that you are not. You can be you without worrying about anyone judging you. Home is where we find our rest and our peace. We can never become who we were created to be if we feel like we need to hide behind a façade.

Hope is a rare thing these days. Antioch is committed to being a place where every person can find hope for whatever they are going through.

We as a church Honor not only God, but every person who walks into our community. We believe in the importance of honor to release blessing in our own lives.

Hilarity is defined as “boisterous merriment.” If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong. Church should be serious, intense, powerful, and reverent; but it should also be filled with joy and celebration. We laugh, and are confident that laughter can be a form of worship too.

  • At Antioch Church, we believe children’s ministry is a vital and foundational part of our mission. Our desire is to invest intentionally in the next generation, ensuring that our children receive not what is left over, but our very best. We recognize that children are uniquely receptive and eager to learn, which is why Scripture serves as the primary source for all we teach, with curriculum used to support and enrich their experience. Our aim is to guide children to know the Lord with their minds, to love Him with their hearts, and to serve Him with their hands. We strive to cultivate an environment where they learn to listen to the Holy Spirit, embrace obedience, discover their God-given purpose, and grow in the fruit of the Spirit. Our prayer is that the children of Antioch Church will be known for their kindness, character, and love for Jesus.

  • We are a community of faith and love seeking to grow in faith and love towards God and one another. We welcome people to join us and encounter Jesus regardless of where they are at on their spiritual journey. We are not affiliated with any major denominations, but we maintain that there is only one Body of Christ and feel it is important for us to be in community with the other local churches.

  • We gather starting at 9am for coffee, donuts, and casual conversations. Our worship service begins at 10am. Your kids are welcome to join us in worship and can stay for the message, but we do offer an incredible children’s ministry. We will worship through song, prayer, preaching, and ministry time for about 2 hours. Service will usually end by noon with us standing and singing the doxology together.

  • We welcome you to come however you are comfortable. Most people wear jeans and t-shirts or comparable casual clothing, but some dress up. It really is up to you.

    founding pastors

    After spending several years serving in the area of global missions, Brad and Cory founded Antioch Church in 2010 with a handful of young believers who were devoted to worship, discipleship and the word of God. Brad’s “God story” is unique in that he was raised Jewish and came to the saving knowledge of Christ during his quest to disprove the truth of Christianity. Together, as lead pastors of Antioch, Brad and Cory’s vision for the church remains the same: Family. Their goal: to point people to Jesus through experiential discipleship and to connect them with the heart of God through intimate worship, sound Biblical teaching and steadfast prayer.

  • Ben Peraino

    Benjamin and Tiffany have played an integral role at Antioch since the beginning tending to the hearts and physical needs to the family they call Antioch. Ben and Tiff are actively involved in the medical profession serving the Inland Empire with a passion to bring health to those around them. They have a deeply rooted desire to bring healing to the whole person: body, soul, and spirit. They feel blessed to serve the bride of Christ and they are passionate about developing a healthy, thriving, supernatural community that advances the Kingdom of Heaven in the everyday.

  • Javon Jones

    worship leader

    While it is true that Javon is a professionally and classically trained musician, that is the least important aspect about this man of God. Javon has a heart for God and His people and seeks to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Always sensitive to the move of the Spirit, we are thankful to have Javon lead us into battle and into the presence of God every Sunday morning.

    Dave and Lauralyn are the wisdom of Antioch church. Through the years they have played an integral role in the planting and thriving of several churches throughout Southern California. They serve as pastors and counselors to hundreds of pastors throughout the world. There are not many people who have accomplished more for the Kingdom of God than they have, and we are honored to have them as our wisdom couple.
