The most frequently used image for the church in Scripture is a family. We believe that Jesus intended us to live in community as the Body of Christ. In community with people who are different than us we learn how to forgive, we learn how to sacrifice, we learn how to forgive, and we learn how to love. It is hard sometimes, but the hard is what makes us grow more and more like our Creator.
